Tips’n'Hints

Check out our Tips’n'Hints page! I have added a link to an online Conversion Program and also a link to one that you can download. Both are really easy to use.
Today I also added some information about Water-Soluble stabilizers, and how to make use of your leftovers.

i was reading on your tip page about the water soluble stabiler i have also used my scraps but i didn’t use alchol and mine didn’t keep very well did you put yours in the frig well thanks for all the fun things on your site

Yes, I keep it in the frig. It needs to be carefully labelled, and not in a drink bottle, if you have young children who might confuse it for something good to drink. Lyn

    Lyn,
Do the measurements that you posted for the Fibanocci quilts include the 1/4″seams or are they the finished measurement? Also do you have any patterns for a fibanocci quilt that I could purchase

    Thanks,
    Laurie

Hi Laurie, the measurements are finished measurements, so you need to add 1/2″ to each (for 1/4″ seam allowance on all sides).
I don’t have a Fibonacci quilt as such, I just use the measurements to determine the size of sashing and borders that I use, after I know what the size of my embroidered block is going to be. Cheers, Lyn
